Mental Health Coach
Mary Oconnell
Hey friend! I’m Mary—and I’m here to remind you that healing is possible, and you are never alone.
My journey began in darkness. I attempted suicide at just 11 years old, struggling with severe depression, anxiety, and overwhelming feelings of abandonment. I battled a personality disorder that left me disconnected from myself and drowning in emotions that felt too big to carry. Life was terrifying, and I felt lost.
In 2018, after a painful breakup caused by my own unhealed patterns, I made the decision to begin my healing journey. I was tired of living in internal chaos. Since then, I’ve committed to becoming a student of healing, growth, and emotional intelligence—and I haven’t looked back.
Today, as an Emotional Intelligence Life Coach, my purpose is to walk alongside others who are navigating their own storms. I offer a safe, judgment-free space where clients can be seen, heard, and supported as they process emotions, build self-awareness, and reconnect with their sense of self.
Healing isn’t a straight line, but you don’t have to walk it alone. I can’t wait to meet you, hear your story, and help you evolve into the most authentic, empowered version of you.

I’m not afraid to laugh at my own past. My self-deprecating humor and openness make even the heaviest stories feel a little lighter—and a lot more human. I believe healing doesn’t always have to be heavy—it can also be honest, empowering, and even a little fun.
